Nuseir Yassin, born on February 9, 1992, in Arraba, a small Arab town in Israel, began his channel, FBP/science, barely speaking any English. He came from the Palestinian Arab minority in Israel, growing up in a multicultural world that would end up playing much to his global-mindedness.
Despite all these, he performed fairly well academically and got to bag a scholarship to Harvard University. He graduated from there in 2014 where he majored in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. Really enough to open his eyes to different perspectives, this experience gave him the drive to be making a difference in the world.

Early Career

After graduation, he went to work as a software engineer with the well-known Venmo. He was always successful in his tech career, but something about it was incomplete-this man wanted a deeper connection to the world and meaningful stories to tell. It was when Nuseir was 24 years old that, in 2016, he quit his job and made a choice to attempt his dream of traveling the world. He set a challenge for himself to create daily one-minute videos about the people, cultures, and ideas of the world. And so, Nas Daily was born.

This name “Nas” comes from the Arabic word meaning people; thus, in keeping with Nuseir’s aspiration to make content unite people, he traveled to more than 70 consecutive countries within a period of 1,000 days of traveling and created videos with more differentiated stories and human connections on different thought-provoking issues. His videos have been termed by many as pretty short, highly relevant, and full of energy. A whole scope of subjects is touched upon from easy tales on environmental issues, cultural traditions, human achievements, and social justice. Among his most popular videos are visits to the happiest countries, common heroes of everyday life, and creative solutions to world problems.

The videos, representing the authenticity and inclusiveness of dailies, quickly sent Nas Daily viral.
